Committee Chairs

Alumni & Communications

The A&C chairs are responsible for maintaining constant communication with our extensive alumni base and for keeping them informed of the events we plan for them.  Additionally, they manage our database of alumni dating back to when our chapter was founded.

The A&C committee is ready to introduce fresh ideas for networking opportunities and fun brotherhood/alumni events to AKPsi through their committee in the fall.

Pledging and Recruiting

The P&R committee plays a critical role in the brotherhood, as they provide all the materials and plan all the events that are integral to the rush process. Beyond rush, Brs. Hamelin, Freeman and Mrowka supplement the new pledges’ rush experiences by continuing to plan events and provide guidance through the pledge process.

This semester, P&R will be bringing creative ideas and an optimistic attitude to AKPsi so that they can accumulate the greatest AKPsi-Phi pledge class ever (the Beta Alphas!).

Philanthropy

Brs. Kiesel and Kim (a Big/Little pair, in fact!) will be sustaining the fraternity’s strong connection with the Detroit Partnership by organizing volunteer events for the Partnership to improve the overall blight of Detroit, namely, AKPsi will be active in the Shurley Center to contribute their business knowledge to citizens of Detroit, MI. They are thrilled to be working as a team this semester to combine their immense passion for philanthropy into rewarding and consistent brotherhood events.
